Are You Asking For Referrals from your clients? Normally, I do when I'm growing my Springfield referral base. It's one of the best ways to increase your business and obtain new leads. I also have " We Love Referrals" on our business cards.
One of my clients unexpectedly stopped by the office today to check on his contract. He is closing in a week and just
wanted to be reassured his home was closing. He was referred to me last year, from a client that was moving to Ohio.
I made a few phone calls and gave him peace of mind and thought he would be on his way. But, he didn't have much to do, so after a cup of coffee, he continued to hang around. Then my hubby, stopped by and the two of them had a great time. I excused myself and started answering the phone.
Before he left, he came back to me and requested additional cards. He wanted to hand them out to friends he knew before he leaves town. I gladly gave him what he needed and he was off to deliver my cards.
Know what I forgot to do? I knew he was moving to another state and never once thought he could be a great person to ask for referrals!
