Seven of the eight Springfield homes I marketed in North Valley Estates in Springfield went under contract in January.
Price ranged from $110,000 to $149,000. These were only a few years old, but included stamped concrete driveways, open floor plans, more square footage, with a great location.
The highest priced one was a finished walkout basement, that recently had new carpet and paint added to it.
Wonderful buy, now just waiting for the right home buyer. Just down the street, new homes are being completed, with less square footage, less amenities, with upgrades available for an additional price.
The majority of homebuyers are first time home buyers, taking advantage of the government stimulus package and Missouri incentives (HOPE). These smart buyers aren't waiting till the last minute to buy and found great buys.
