There's so much to do this Fourth of July weekend in and around Springfield. Every city is planning events. This is the first year that the "Firefall" event, sponsored by the City of Springfield has been cancelled. Fireworks on Nixa have also been cancelled.
July 3:
Republic - The "Have-A-Blast" celebration is at J.R. Martin Park, 400 E. Hines St. Entertainment begins at 6 p.m., Big Smith performs at 7:30 and fireworks start at 9:30.
The annual I Love America fourth of July event is being held this year on July 3, at the Springfield Underground located at Highway 65 and Division street in Springfield. Gates open at 11 a.m. This year they are predicting over 80,000 attendants.
In Branson there will be a concert at 8:00 pm in front of the Branson Landing fountains with the amazing band, Chain Reaction - A Tribute to Journey. Following the concert - Branson Landing's 2nd Annual Liberty Light Up - an amazing choreographed Fireworks Display Show produced and provided by Gateway Fireworks Displays.
